Where does ELIXR install?

ELIXR installs for your Windows user in LocalAppData\Programs\ELIXR. Your settings and VRChat session remain separate from application updates.

How are downloads checked?

The installer and updater verify release metadata against a public key embedded in the application, then check the downloaded file’s size and SHA-256 hash. Windows may still show a warning because this build is not Authenticode-signed.

What information does the tool send?

Live-client telemetry includes your VRChat identity, current world and instance, avatar, and instance player list. Read About ELIXR before using the tool. No ELIXR account or manually entered telemetry key is required.

Do I need anything else?

The .NET runtime is included. The HTML profile popup requires Microsoft’s WebView2 Runtime. If it is missing, install it from Microsoft.
